How To Join Carn Brea Helston Swimming Club
If you are interested in joining Carn Brea and Helston Swimming Club then you are invited to attend a free assessment session with a member of our poolside team.
Assessments take place on Monday nights at 6:30pm (Term Time only) at Carn Brea Leisure Centre. However swimmers must be able to swim 25 metres front crawl and back crawl to be assessed at this facility.
If you live in the Helston area and your child is learning to swim and not able to swim 25 metres then the club recommend 'Sue's Swim School' 07840946280 or 01326 965 446 firstname.lastname@example.org
Sue Keith operates a very good private swim school at Parc Eglos for these age groups, and has been one of our volunteer teachers for many years. Sue will then signpost the swimmers back to CBHSC when they reach the club's level 5.
If you wish to inform us when you wish to bring your child we can make the necessary arrangements for your assessment.
Please include your child's name, DOB and any badges or swimming ability attainment.
Once assessed to identify where their current abilities are best suited within our club programme you can discuss with our club desk further information regarding the club structure.
Please contact Anna Lyford (Enrolement Secretary), using the Contact Us link.
